Spindle Finishing Machines  

Abrasive slurry, spindle finishing machines deliver precision finishing of gears, bearing cages, splined shafts, pump rotors, jet compressor discs, and jet blades where part on part contact is not acceptable.

Spindle finishing is based on the principle of an abrasive flowing mass, which under controlled conditions can effectively accomplish a wide variety of precision deburring and surface improvement operations required to meet the specialized finishing demands of the metalworking industry.

In recent years, the high degree of specialization in the metalworking industry has increasingly created the need for new and specialized equipment to meet finishing and deburring demands.

Barrel and vibratory finishing equipment, together with variations from these basic equipment, together with variations from these basic equipment concepts have, for years, been effective in producing operational cost saving and improved finishes on a wide variety of parts.

Since the metalworking industry has a wide variety of metal finishing requirements, and an equally wide range of products to be finished, the efforts necessary to accomplish the desired results demand increasing degrees of specialitizon.

To accomplish or meet these challenges a wide variety of metal finishing and deburring equipment in varying degrees of sophistication is available.  However a mechanical finishing machine concept, which has been more or less "overshadowed" by conventional methods of finishing, or overlooked because of the availability of custom, specialty equipment--but which, on the other hand has a wide range of processing capabilities--is the basic version of the Spindle Finishing Machine.
